As a feudal lord in medieval Japan you choose how you interact with your fellow lords whether it be through trade, or competition, peace, or backstabbing, alliance, or war.
Join your friends or make new friends by joining factions and kingdoms that you wage war against opposing groups with. And you can chat at the Setting Sun Inn with your fellow lords, because even ruthless shoguns need some time to relax!
Micromanagement has been cut down as much as possible, so you can focus on the broad subjects of your dominion, and Lords: Rising Sun only takes about 5-15 minutes a day to play.
